If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it really make a sound?
Of course it does. If it can fall, that means that vibrations are possible, and since sound is just a set of vibrations, sound will come from the tree. What makes confidently considering this a valid answer, of course, is that sound is also subject to perception. I choose the more objective idea of sound, however, so I think I’ve answered the question.
